Giorgi Vashadze, during his career, was a member of the Parliament of Georgia, as well as deputy chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee. Furthermore, former deputy minister of Justice. Hence, he has an outstanding record in the initiation, planning, and management of fundamental reforms. Since 2005 He was actively involved in the programs of the Ministry of Justice. Successfully implementing various projects

As the head of the Civil Registry Agency (2006-2010) Giorgi Vashadze initiated and implemented systems of biometric passports, ID cards, digital signature, citizen portal, unified Demographic Registry, visual recognition, accelerated services, remote services etc. Besides, Giorgi Vashadze being a Deputy Minister of Justice was in charge of the establishment of Public Service Halls (2011). Which had a concept based on the principle of "Everything in One Place". Consequently, the project got the most prestigious United Nations Public Service Awards in 2012 due to its excellence in public service
